The Research Institute of Food Science and Technology strongly condemns the American-Zionist airstrikes targeting several universities in Iran, including Iran University of Science and Technology, Isfahan University of Technology, and other scientific institutions. These attacks are not only a clear violation of moral and humanitarian principles but also a testament to the ignorance and inability of adversaries in the face of science, knowledge, and Iran's progress.
Unfortunately, recent attacks have resulted in reports of civilian martyrdoms, including several academics—professors and students from universities across the country—which is contrary not only to ethical principles but also to the norms of international law.
As a scientific institution, we condemn these actions and sincerely express our sympathy to the bereaved families of the martyred academics, professors, and students. We also declare our readiness to intensify scientific and research efforts aimed at advancing and developing our beloved country's scientific capabilities, as well fulfill our national mission in the area of food security. Our country requires effective and practical research to support its reconstruction process.
