International student education is a new and important mission for the Research
Institute of Food Science and Technology (RIFST). As the only independent food
research institute affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research and
Technology (MSRT) of Iran, RIFST with a bright successful record in educating
research-based post-graduate students, is now privileged to have achieved the
official license from MSRT for admitting international post-graduate students
in the field of Food Science and Technology as of 2019. In research-based
system, candidates do not need to pass several courses, except the ones advised
by the supervisor, which are much fewer compared to course-based system at
universities. Therefore, RIFST welcomes the applicants for postgraduate degrees
(M.Sc. & PhD) and short-term courses in the following branches:
