The
lab equipped with general and technical apparatuses including bioreactors,
fermenters appropriate for plant and microbe culture, plant tissue culture, DNA
and RNA isolation, PCR and gene cloning is involved in biotechnology research
projects focusing on food, producing prebiotic and probiotic used in
fermenting process as well as secondary metabolites applied in food. Some of
the devices in this lab are as follows: Analysis & Gel Documentation, Real
Time PCR, StereoMicroscope, Refrigerated Centrifuge, Thermal Cycler,
Electrophoresis, plant growth chamber, Nano Drop and Deep Freezer.
