its official website.
Having been launched in 1907, CAS is rooted in the
publication Chemical Abstracts ™ (CA), a journal of the American Chemical
Society. CAS intends to help scientists benefit from the published work of
their colleagues around the world by monitoring, abstracting and indexing the
world's chemistry-related literature.
