1. Statement by the Research Institute of Food Science and Technology condemning the Zionist regime's brutal aggression and crime

«وَسَیَعْلَمُ الَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا أَیَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ یَنْقَلِبُونَ»

“And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned”

(Quran Al- Karim- Surah Ash-Shu‘arā’)

The Research Institute of Food Science and Technology firmly condemns the brutal aggression by the Zionist regime against the scientific infrastructure and residential areas of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is contrary to all standards of international law.

This brutal attack, which, in addition to the martyrdom of high-ranking military officials, resulted in the martyrdom of six learned members of the Islamic Iranian academic community, once again demonstrates the hostility of the sinister Zionist regime towards the institution of science, thought, and scientific independence.

The Research Institute of Food Science and Technology, while offering condolences to the country's scientific community and the honorable families of these martyrs, emphasizes that the Islamic Republic of Iran's reciprocal and decisive response to this brutal aggression is a legal and legitimate right within the framework of the principle of self-defense and the rights of nations against obvious aggression.

International scientific and academic institutions are also expected to not remain silent in the face of the infamous Zionist regime's encroachment on the privacy of science and the institution of knowledge, the assassination of scientists, and the threat to the security of scholars, and to defend the dignity and status of science and scholars by explicitly condemning these barbaric actions.

Our academic community once again pledges to continue the path of enlightenment, scientific independence, and indigenous technology development with greater determination, and to consider these martyrdoms as an asset for further strengthening the national will.
