Educational workshops were held at the Research Institute of Food Sciences and Technology with the presence of professors and students of the universities of Baghdad and Al-Ayen of Iraq. A group of elite professors and students from the universities of Baghdad and Al-Ayen of Iraq became familiar with technological potentials and capabilities of the Research Institute of Food Sciences and Technology by attending workshops held at this Institute.
In this workshop, presented by faculty members and laboratory experts of RIFST electrospinning: fundamentals and applications in agri-food sectors, applications of texture analysis in food and agriculture, introduction to texture analyzer, general physicochemical, a review on freeze dryer and spray dryer, microbiology of food products were taught.
It should be mentioned that at the closing ceremony of these educational workshops, held under the title of the first international summer school, Prof. Seyed Mohammad Ali Razavi, the President of the Research Institute of Food Sciences and Technology awarded scientific certificates to the students of Al-Ayen and Baghdad Universities.
It should be noted that research and technology trainings are designed and implemented with the approach of directing the country's research capacities in order to solve problems and meet the needs of food industry research sciences and complete the chain of research, technology and innovation.
