Based on a research conducted by Stanford University scientists on Scopus events, the list of the most cited scientists in all disciplines and the top two percent of scientific fields were identified and introduced, with Prof. Seyed Mohammad Ali Razavi, the full professor of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and the President of RIFST in the list of top two percent of the scientists in the world in 2023.
The main basis of this evaluation was the citation index, and the number of citations to the researchers' scientific products, the number of citations without self-citation, the h-index of the researchers and the use of a composite citation index (which is a set of six separate citation indices), have been the evaluation criteria of this institute to determine the top two percent most cited researchers.
