With the intention of developing scientific activities and elevating the research standard at the national level in the field of food science and technology, the Research Institute of Food Science and Technology and the Standards Research Institute signed a memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation.
This MOU was signed with the aim of expanding research activities, improving standards related to the food industry, benefiting from the scientific capacities of the two institutions, and creating suitable platforms for future joint projects.
Based on the provisions of this memorandum, the parties have committed to planning and implementing extensive cooperation in the future in areas such as: conducting applied and problem-oriented research in the field of food quality and safety, developing and updating national and international standards related to the food industry, exchanging scientific knowledge and expertise through holding meetings, workshops, and training courses, and creating joint infrastructure for the development of new food technologies.
This memorandum of understanding will pave the way for strengthening inter-organizational interactions and moving forward towards improving the country's health and food security.
