The first "Leap in Food Industries" event was held thanks to the initiatives of the Research Institute of Food Science and Technology, focusing on introducing tax credit capacities, research and development in the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law, presenting industrial experiences, and strengthening technological cooperation.

At this event, Prof. Seyed Mohammad Ali Razavi, the President of the Research Institute of Food Science and Technology, pointed out the importance of using legal capacities in developing innovation and said: "The tax credit mentioned in the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law can create a major transformation in increasing investment in the food industry research and development sector."

Referring to the planning to sign five cooperation agreements between the Research Institute of Food Science and Technology and food industry units using the capacity of Article 13 of the law, he considered this event a starting point for the leap in knowledge-based production in the country's food industries and announced the active role of RIFST in cooperating with food industry units to make the most of the capacities of the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law.

It is worth noting that this event was the first issue-oriented and specialized event in the field of food science with the approach of introducing the capacities of the law of knowledge-based production leap to food industry units, which was held with the presence of a group of researchers, industrial managers, and government officials in cooperation with Bushra Pajouh Strategic Institute, the Research Institute of Food Science and Technology, and Khorasan Razavi Science and Technology Park.
