Based on the evaluation published by Islamic World Science and Technology Monitoring and Citation Institute (ISC) in 2022, the Journal of Research and Innovation in Food Science and Technology (JRIFST) has been promoted from Q3 rank to Q2 rank with the impact factor of 0.232.
ISC's scientific publications system examines, evaluates and ranks authoritative publications, and is based on the quantitative methods adopted by authors and, at a higher level, on their publications and collections of articles.
In this regard, Dr. Bahare Emadzadeh, the Head of the Library and Documents Center, said "The impact factor of this index, which measures the effectiveness of a publication in relation to other publications, is one of the indicators used in ranking and comparing publications with each other."
Dr. Emadzadeh added "Based on the latest evaluation done in 2022 by the Scientific Publications Commission of the country, the Journal of Research and Innovation in Food Science and Technology (JRIFST) has been ranked as "International", while previously, it had been indexed in many other international databases, such as the Scopus International Database, Food Science and Technology Abstracts (FSTA), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Center for Agriculture and Biosciences International (CABI), American Chemical Society (CAS), EBSCO and Google Scholar.
The Head of the Library and Documents Center also mentioned "JRIFST is published in English and as an electronic quarterly (4 chapters in a year). The articles of this publication are judged and published by using the knowledge of faculty members, professors and experts in the field of food science. The articles of this publication are available for use by the general public in any specialized field.”
