“The Journal of Research and Innovation in Food Science and Technology (JRIFST)” affiliated to the Research Institute of Food Science and Technology, having gone through the standardization process and fulfilling the necessary conditions, has been indexed in the scientific citation database of Scopus affiliated to Elsevier International Publications, in the fourth quarter (Q4).
Scopus is one of the most authoritative citation indexes in the world. Indexing publications in this database requires obtaining the necessary points in the fields of credibility and activities of editor and publisher, the effectiveness of the editorial board in the subject area of the journal worldwide, the importance of the journal globally, pattern and quality of the articles, regular and timely publication in accordance with the standards, quality of judging and ethics of the publishing profession. 
JRIFST has already been indexed in other international journals such as American Chemical Society (CAS), Food Science and Technology Abstracts (FSTA), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Scientific Indexing Services (SIS), Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International, Magiran, ISC, CABI, EBSCO and Google Scholar.
