Prof. Razavi, the President of RIFST, along with the Research Deputy and the Director of Entrepreneurship and Communication  visited the production line of, 9595 food group, one of the producers of semi-prepared pizza bread, yufka, dumpling dough and specialized production of pizza cheese.

He said: Strengthening the relationship with the industry depends on cooperation with the scientific and research community, and these centers should support the industry with their dynamism and extensive scientific activities as well as their knowledge and technology.

During the visit, in a conversation with the CEO of the factory, while visiting the central laboratory of this group, Prof. Razavi spoke about the extensive achievements of RIFST in various fields of food industry science and said: Systematic communication between the industry and the market is one of the main priorities of the institute, and we are trying to make this communication expanded so that the main problems of the country can be solved with the help of science and knowledge derived from scientific research and achievements.

Prof. Razavi added: Science and industry are two wings that bring the society to growth and prosperity, and the industry should use the elite and academic society to reach a precise need assessment regarding its demands so that the qualitative output of research becomes more accurate.

Mr. Hamid Kamel, CEO of the factory, also expressed his satisfaction and thanks for the presence of Prof. Razavi and his colleagues in a meeting held at the end of the visit. "We have taken steps to improve the quality of laboratory services in order to achieve full customer satisfaction by following professional and ethical principles" said Mr. Kamel.

The CEO of the 9595 Food Group pointed to the irreplaceable role of the Research Institute of Food Science and Technology in solving the health and food security gaps in the country and added: discussion and investigation of technological problems, joint cooperation with RIFST to activate the national research and technology network, joint cooperation in identifying and planning to hold applied training courses in the field of food science are the needs and priorities that we hope to achieve in a joint memorandum.

It should be mentioned that in this regard, a memorandum of understanding consisting of 6 articles was signed and exchanged between RIFST and 9595.
