This department assumes all research activities relevant to measurement, extraction, identification and determination of food in terms of food components, particles, pollutants etc. This department is committed to reducing pollutants to nil by developing fine packaging and insulation. Development of self/ biodegradable packs and identification of their disadvantages on the environment, also to determine the food shelf life and chemical interaction of food components and the packs is among their accomplishments. Main activity of the department could well be illustrated in identification and extraction of active herbal matters, synthesis and analysis of food components.
